 PREAMBLE

In RAMADHAN’s perspective, the Chapter Al-Qadr, with its latest academic/literary/logical translation, in the context of great Quranic goals, is presented upon insistent demand by friends.

Islamic Tradition holds it that the “Night of Virtues” occurs during one of the odd nights in the last 10 days of the Month of Ramadhan  and the act of worship performed during that night can fetch Salvation from the life-long sins and crimes, and the sinner gets cleansed and absolved.

Unfortunately, according to Quran’s precise testimony, the ‘Month of Ramadhan”, the “Fasting” during the month and the formula or short-cut of “Salvation within one night”, all are nothing but ill-logic and clear deception. Please call for the relevant literature and be free from the clutches of this big, old, sacred Scam crafted and planted by the Arab despotic un-Islamic regimes of the past into the original doctrine of Islam.

 

Chapter Al-Qadr does not emphasize importance of some particular NIGHT during the month of Ramadhan in which unconditional and indiscriminate blessings and forgiveness descend from the heavens for those who remain awake in worship. The entire concept is full of absurdity and based on nonsensical assumptions.

Chapter Al-Qadr (97)

انا انزلناہ فی لیلۃ القدر (1) و ما ادراک ما لیلۃ القدر(2) لیلۃ القدر خیر من الفِ شہر(3) تنزل الملائکۃ و الروح فیھا باذن ربھم من کل امر (4) سلام (قف) ھی حتیٰ مطلع الفجر (5)۔

Transliteration: “Inna anzalnaa-hu fi layilat-il-Qadr (1). Wa maa adraaka maa layilat-il-Qadr (2). Layilat-il-Qadr khayirun min alfi shahr(3). Tanazzal al-malaa’ikatu wa al-Roohu fi-haa bi-izni Rabbi-him min kulli amrin(4) salaamun (stop) Hiya hattaa matla’ul Fajr(5)”.

The Fictitious InheritedTraditional Translation:

“Behold, We revealed this (Qur'an) on the Night of Power. And what do you know what the Night of Power is? The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. The angels along with the Spirit descend in it by the permission of their Lord with all kinds of decrees. All peace is that night until the rise of dawn.”

 

The Latest Academic & Rational Translation:

97:1-5 “Indeed we have presented this Quran in a Dark Time Zone (Layilat - لیلۃ) when no moral value/ principle/ yardstick/ criterion/standard (al-Qadr - القدر) existed. But you are not aware as to what great importance this era of absence of values (Layilat-il-Qadr -لیلۃ القدر) possessed. In fact, the Era of Darkness of Values is to be taken as a blessing in spite of the prevalent well known (الفِ) state of infamous depravity (shahr -شہر); because in its wake, descend Divine Authorities (Malaa’ikatu - الملائکۃ) with divine revelations (wa al-Rooh - و الروح) with their Lord’s permission, heralding the message of peace and security (salaamun - سلام) in all human affairs (min kulli amrin -من کل امر). And this enforcement of peaceful conditions continues (hiya - ھی) till the divine guidance enlightens the earth with its blessings (hattaa matla’il Fajr -حتیٰ مطلع الفجر).”

 

Important terminology defined from Authentic Lexicons:

Lailun لیل/Lailatunلیلۃ : Both mean night, but according to Marzuqi the word Lailun is used as opposed to Nahar and the word Lailatun (لیلۃ) is used as opposed to Yaum. Lailatun possesses a wider and more extensive meaning than Lailun; just as the word Yaum has a wider sense than Nahar.

Shiin-ha-Ra شہر= Make it notable/known/manifest/public/infamous (in a bad or good sense), hire/contract for a month, stay a month, month old, month, new moon, moon, full moon, any evil thing that exposes its author to disgrace, a vice/fault or the like, big & bulky, reputable/eminent.

 

Alif-Lam-Faالف : Become a thousand. A certain rounded number that is well known. Alif-Lam-Fa الف= he kept or clave to it, he frequented it, resorted to it habitually, he became familiar with it or accustomed/habituated, became sociable/companionable/friendly with him, liked/approved/amicable, protect/safeguard, covenant/obligation involving responsibility for safety. to unite or bring together, state of union/alliance/agreement, to cause union or companionship, to collect/connect/join/conjoin. Become a thousand. A certain rounded number that is well known. iilaaf: Unity; Compact; Alliance; Covenant for the purpose of trade; Obligation involving responsibility for safety and protection; Attachment.

 

Miim-Lam-Kaf م ل ک : = to rule/command/reign, be capable, to control, power/authority, king, kingdom. Lam-Alif-Kaf ل ا ک : = To send, to send a message, to send anyone towards.

malak n.m (pl. malaikah), see also malak (Miim-Lam-Kaf) : To send a message, send anyone towards. Mal’akatun ملئکۃ: Message mission. Malakun ملک Angel. According to Raghib and Abu Hassan its root is Mim, Lam, Kaf, Malaka ملک: plu. Mala’ikatun ملائکۃ: To have power or dominion over, be capable of, able to do, rule over, give a support, control. All the six variation of the root indicate the meaning of power and strength, courage, intensity and hardness.

Al-Rooh: الروح: ruuhun (n.) - revelation, spirit, soul, human soul, Gabriel, angel of revelation.

سورۃ القدر [ 97 ]:

رمضان کے تناظر میں قرآن کے عظیم اہداف کی مطابقت میں سورۃ القدر کا جدید ترین علمی/ادبی/شعوری ترجمہ پیارے قارئین کی خدمت میں پیش کیا جا رہا ہے۔

اسلامی روایت اس موقف کی حامل ہے کہ "قدروں والی رات" رمضان کے مہینے کی آخری طاق راتوں میں سے کوئی ایک رات ہوا کرتی ہے؛ اور اس رات میں کی گئی عبادت زندگی کے تمام گناہوں اور جرائم سے نجات کا باعث ہوتی ہے اور تمام گناہگار بالکل پاک و صاف اور معاف کر دیے جاتے ہیں۔ لیکن بدقسمتی سے، قرآن کی شہادت کے مطابق، رمضان کا مہینہ، اس ماہ میں روزے رکھنا، اور ایک ہی رات میں نجات کا چور راستہ، سب ایک بڑے واضح اور غیر منطقی دھوکے کے سوا کچھ اور نہیں ہے۔ براہ کرم مزید لٹریچر طلب فرمائیں اور خود کواس شکنجے کی زد میں آنے سے بچائیں جس کی گرفت میں بنی امیہ سے شروع ہونے والی غیر اسلامی حکومتوں نے اپنے عظیم فراڈ کے ذریعے پوری مسلم امت کو سابقہ تقریبا 1400 سال سے جکڑ رکھا ہے۔

سورۃ القدر ماہِ رمضان کی کسی خاص رات کی اہمیت پر زور نہیں دیتی جس میں غیر مشروط اور بلا امتیاز رحمتوں اور مغفرتوں کا آسمانوں سے ان لوگوں کے لیے نزول ہوتا ہے جو اس رات جاگتے اور عبادت کرتے ہیں۔ یہ نظریہ سراسر ابہام سے پُر ہے اور نہایت احمقانہ مفروضوں پر اپنی بنیاد رکھتا ہے۔

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ ﴿١﴾ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ﴿٢﴾ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ ﴿٣﴾ تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ ﴿٤﴾ سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ﴿٥﴾

روایتی غیر عقلی ترجمہ: [بریکٹوں میں کی گئی تحریف ملاحظہ فرمائیں]

"ہم نے اس (قرآن) کو شب قدر میں نازل (کرنا شروع) کیا۔ اور تمہیں کیا معلوم کہ شب قدر کیا ہے؟ شب قدر ہزار مہینے سے بہتر ہے۔ اس میں روح (الامین) اور فرشتے ہر کام کے (انتظام کے) لیے اپنے پروردگار کے حکم سے اترتے ہیں۔ یہ (رات) طلوع صبح تک (امان اور) سلامتی ہے۔" [ جالندہری]

جدید ترین علمی و شعوری ترجمہ:

""درحقیقت ہم نے اس قرآن کو ایک ایسے تاریک دور(لیلۃ) میں نازل کیا ہے(انزلناہ) جہاں کوئی اخلاقی قدر/قانون/پیمانہ/کسوٹی/معیار (قدر) اپنا وجود ہی نہیں رکھتا تھا ۔لیکن آپ کو ابھی اس امر کی آگہی نہیں (ما ادراک) کہ اقدار کی تاریکی کا دور کس اہمیت کا حامل ہوتا ہے۔ دراصل، اقدار کی تاریکی کا دور برائیوں کی تمام معلوم و معروف (الفِ) صورتِ حالات (شہر) کے باوجود اس لیے بہتر و برتر (خیر) باور کیا جاتاہے کیونکہ اس کے دوران خاص مقتدر قوتوں (الملائکۃ )اور مضبوط الہامی اقدار کا حامل ایک مخصوص پیغام یا وحیِ الٰہی (الروح) کاپروردگار کی منشاء کے مطابق نزول ہوتا ہے جو تمام امور و معاملات میں امن و تحفظ و سلامتی (سلام) کا نقیب ہوتا ہے۔ اور سلامتی کا یہ عمل (ھی) جاری رہتا ہے تاکہ/یہاں تک کہ (حتٰی) ہدایت کی روشنی پھوٹ کر اس تاریک دور کو روشن کر دے (مطلع الفجر) ۔ ""

بغیر رکاوٹ، رواں ترجمہ:

"درحقیقت ہم نے اس قرآن کو ایک ایسے تاریک دورمیں نازل کیا ہےجہاں کوئی اخلاقی قدر/قانون/پیمانہ/کسوٹی/ معیار اپنا وجود ہی نہیں رکھتا تھا ۔لیکن آپ کو ابھی اس امر کی آگہی نہیں کہ اقدار کی تاریکی کا دور کس اہمیت کا حامل ہوتاہے۔ دراصل، اقدار کی تاریکی کا دور برائیوں کی تمام معلوم و معروف صورتِ حالات کے باوجود اس لیے بہتر باور کیا جاتاہے کیونکہ اس کے دوران خاص مقتدر قوتوں اور مضبوط الہامی اقدار کا حامل ایک مخصوص پیغام یا وحیِ الٰہی کا پروردگار کی منشاء کے مطابق نزول ہوتا ہے جو تمام امور و معاملات میں امن و تحفظ و سلامتی کا نقیب ہوتا ہے۔ اور سلامتی کا یہ عمل جاری رہتا ہے تاکہ/یہاں تک کہ، الہامی ہدایت کی روشنی پھوٹ کر اس تاریک دور کو روشن کر دے۔"
