Although such demands from my valued Readers cause a kind of distraction from my usual and orderly modus operandi, yet my deeper concern for my Readers’ enlightenment compels me to fulfill some of their wishes. Accordingly, some of the coming installments will be seen presenting the most up to date and fully23435184 1699285423437453 2033403124760683439 n rational and academic translations of smaller Chapters of the Quran. Hereunder you’re going to find four small Chapters from the last part of Quran (starting with the word “Qul – قل “) re-translated in the light of advanced knowledge and most rational deliberations into the genuine spirit of Quran. In all of the traditional translations of Chapter 109 – “Al-Kafiroon”, the word KAFIR has invariably been misconstrued to mean “DISBELIEVERS”. This is not the authentic definition of its Root KFR and its application distorts the Quran’s doctrine to a considerable extent. Similarly, the repeatedly used word “aa’bud – اعبد” or “ ‘aabid – عابد” has also been grossly ill-defined to mean only “WORSHIP or WORSHIPER”. This word has a large scope of meanings and to choose only “worship” from its range of meanings is a wishful choice which goes directly against the true spirit and doctrine of the Quran. It is a proven fact that the Quran stipulates NO WORSHIP nor WORSHIP RITUALS anywhere in its text. Here is the full scope of this word’s meanings :- ع ب د - Ayn-Ba-Dal = serve, worship, adore, venerate, accept the impression of a thing, obey with submissiveness or humility, approve, apply, devote, obedience, slave, keep to inseparably, subdue, assemble together, enslave. According to the assertions made in the above lines, a most pertinent re-translation is attempted and presented for viewers’ analysis:- 1) Chapter 109 – Al-Kafiroon سورۃ الکافرون - 109 قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ﴿١﴾ لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٢﴾ وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ ﴿٣﴾ وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ ﴿٤﴾ وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ ﴿٥﴾ لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ ﴿٦﴾ Transliteration: “Qul ya ayyuhal kaafiroona, la a’budu ma ta’budoona, wa la antum ‘aabidoona ma a’budu, wa la anaa ‘aabidum ma ‘abadtum, wa la antum ‘aabidoona ma a’bud. La-kum Deenu-kum wa leea Deen.” Translation: 109:1-6 “O Messenger, make an open Declaration (Qul) to this effect : “O you who purposefully hide the truth (الْكَافِرُونَ ), I do not approve (لَا أَعْبُدُ ) of the evil system you are serving (تَعْبُدُونَ ), and I do know that you are not going to submit to the Discipline that I’m devoted to enforce. And I never intended to submit to what you have been following in the past, and nor are you expected to submit to the discipline I’m following. Therefore, you may have your own way of conduct, while I stand firm with my own particular way of conduct.” AND now follow the Rational Translations of other three small Chapters starting with the imperative verb QUL. .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- سلسلہ وار موضوعاتی تراجم کی قسط نمبر46 چاروں قُل کہلانے والی سورتیں 109، 112، 113، 114 کے جدید علمی و عقلی تراجم اردو متن شروع موضوعاتی تراجم کے جاری کام کے علاوہ بھی، جو کہ مکمل اور خود مکتفی اقساط کے ایک سلسلے کے تحت سر انجام دیا جا رہا ہے، جس میں ہر قسط ایک مخصوص قرآنی موضوع کے ساتھ اس کی نہایت و اکمال کے ہمراہ نبرد آزما ہوتی ہے، اس عاجز سے مستقل فرمائش کی جاتی ہے کہ قرآن کے مختلف جزوی متون اور متفرق سورتوں پر تحقیق کی جائے اور ان کا نیا سیر حاصل متعلقہ ترجمہ پیش کیا جائے۔ اگرچہ میرے موقر قارئین کی جانب سے ایسے مطالبات میرے معمول کے طریقِ کار سے ایک قسم کے انحراف کا باعث بنتے ہیں، پھر بھی میرے قارئین کے ساتھ میرا گہرا فکری تعلق مجھے مجبور کرتا ہے کہ میں ان کے مطالبات کسی حد تک پورے کروں۔ پس آنے والی تراجم کی اقساط میں آپ قرآن کی مقابلتا چھوٹی سورتوں کے جدید ترین عقلی اور علمی تراجم دیکھ سکیں گے۔ ذیل میں بھی آپ "چاروں قُل" کہلانے والی قرآن کی چار آخری آیات کے نئے تراجم دیکھیں گے جو آج کے ترقی یافتہ علم اور قرآن میں خالص عقلیت وبصیرت رکھنے والی فکر کی روشنی میں کیے گئے ہیں۔ تمام دستیاب روایتی اور غیر روایتی تراجم میں آپ سورۃ الکافرون [109] کے حوالے سے لفظ کافر کا غلط ترجمہ مندرج پائیں گے جو بے ایمان یا ایمان نہ رکھنے والے کے مترادف ہوگا۔ اس لفظ کے مادے ک ف ر کی یہ تعریف بالکل غیر مستند ہے۔ اسی کی مانند متعدد بار استعمال کیا ہوا لفظ "اعبد" یا "عابد" بھی غلط طور پر تعریف کیا گیا ہے، یعنی پرستش، یا پرستش کرنے والا۔ جب کہ لفظ ع ب د ایک وسیع معانی رکھنے والا مادہ ہے اور اس وسیع معانی میں سے صرف "پرستش" کا انتخاب کر لینا ایک خواہش پرستانہ انتخاب ہے جو براہ راست قرآن کے نظریے اور روح کے خلاف جاتا ہے۔ قرآن اپنے تمام متون میں کہیں بھی کسی قسم کی پرستش یا پرستش کی رسومات تجویز نہیں کرتا۔ نہایت مستند لغات میں اس لفظ کے مکمل معانی کچھ اس طرح دیے گئے ہیں :- ع ب د - Ayn-Ba-Dal = serve, worship, adore, venerate, accept the impression of a thing, obey with submissiveness or humility, approve, apply, devote, obedience, slave, keep to inseparably, subdue, assemble together, enslave. درج بالا کی گئی وضاحتوں کے مطابق ایک نہایت معنی خیز جدید ترجمہ کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے جو قارئین کے تجزیے کے لیے پیش خدمت ہے:- سورۃ الکافرون - 109 قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ﴿١﴾ لَا أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ ﴿٢﴾ وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ ﴿٣﴾ وَلَا أَنَا عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ ﴿٤﴾ وَلَا أَنتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَا أَعْبُدُ ﴿٥﴾ لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِيَ دِينِ ﴿٦﴾ ترجمہ: "اے نبی کھلا اعلان فرما دیجیئے [قل ] کہ: " اے لوگوں جو جانتے بوجھتے ہوئے بھی حقیقت کی پردہ پوشی کرنے پر تلے ہوئے ہو، میں ہرگز اس شیطانی نظام کو منظور نہیں کر سکتا جس کی تم پیروی کرتے ہو؛ اور میں یہ بھی جانتا ہوں کہ تم بھی اُس نظام کے آگے نہیں جھکو گے جسے میں نافذ کرنے کا پورا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں۔ میں نے پہلے بھی کبھی یہ ارادہ نہیں کیا کہ اُس نظام کے آگے سرِ تسلیم خم کر دوں جس کی تم ماضی سے اب تک پیروی کرتے رہے ہو۔ اور نہ ہی تم سے یہ توقع رکھتا ہوں کہ تم اس نظام کے سامنے جھُک جاوگے جس کی میں پیروی کرتا ہوں۔ فلہٰذا ، تمہیں تمہارا طرزِ زندگی مبارک ہو، جب کہ میں اپنے طرزِ زندگی پر مضبوطی سے عمل پیرا ہوں۔" اور اب ذیل میں ملاحظہ فرمائیں "قُل" کے فعلِ امر سے شروع ہونے والی بقایا تین سورتوں کا عقلی و علمی ترجمہ۔ ________________________________________
